Valencia Basket announces its men's coaching staff for the 2026-27 season

MEN'S TEAM

Valencia Basket has finalized the coaching staff for its men’s professional team ahead of the 2026-27 season, with Xavi Albert at the helm as he makes his debut coaching the Taronja squad during the Roig Arena’s second season.

The Valencian coach will be assisted by Israel González—new to the staff this season—Juan Maroto, and Vicent Revert. Israel González has a long career with teams such as Gran Canaria, where he served as an assistant coach, and Alba Berlin, where he was head coach from 2021 to 2025, giving him experience coaching in the EuroLeague. He now joins the team from Pallacanestro Trieste, where he served as head coach last season.
